Surrey Downs Park
A 10.5-acre neighborhood park just east of downtown Bellevue with play structures, sport courts and open lawns, completed in 2018.
Surrey Downs Park is a 10.5-acre neighborhood park located in the Surrey Downs neighborhood just east of downtown Bellevue, near the East Main light rail station. The land was acquired from King County in 2005, and after a master plan adopted in 2015 the park's construction was completed in 2018.
The park features two children's play structures, a basketball court, large open grass fields, covered picnic and eating areas, walking paths and on-site parking. Its proximity to downtown and the 2 Line makes it a convenient green space for families in the surrounding residential neighborhoods.
Surrey Downs has been recognized as one of Bellevue's newer hidden-gem family parks, complementing the much larger Bellevue Downtown Park a short distance to the west.
