The Eight
Skanska's oval, 25-story glass office tower anchored by Pokemon at NE 8th and 108th.
The Eight is a distinctive oval-shaped, steel-and-glass office tower rising 25 stories on the northwest corner of NE 8th Street and 108th Avenue NE in downtown Bellevue. Designed by Pickard Chilton and developed by Skanska USA Commercial Development, it opened in 2024.
The project totals roughly 540,000 square feet of office space, plus about 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, a small retail pavilion, and about 7,000 square feet of public open space. Its curved curtain-wall form makes it one of the more visually unusual towers in the downtown skyline.
In January 2024, The Pokemon Company International agreed to lease about 374,000 square feet, becoming the building's anchor tenant with occupancy beginning in 2025.
