The Bravern Office Commons consists of two interconnected Class A office towers totaling roughly 750,000 square feet, completed in 2009 as part of the larger Bravern mixed-use development that also includes the upscale Shops at the Bravern and luxury residences. The taller tower rises 23 stories and the shorter 12 stories, linked by outdoor plazas and a retail village.

Microsoft leased both towers before completion and invested about $181 million building out the space, housing roughly 1,600 employees there. In 2023 Microsoft announced it would not renew, consolidating operations at its Redmond campus and fully vacating by 2025.

The departure left the towers under significant financial strain; owned since 2020 by Invesco and the Australian Retirement Trust, the property faced default on roughly $304 million in mortgage debt as its appraised value fell sharply.
