Acreage

Bridle Trails State Park is a 489-acre forested state park on the boundary between Bellevue and Kirkland, lending its name to Bellevue's Bridle Trails neighborhood, which surrounds its southern edge. The park's main entrance is on the Kirkland side.

The park preserves a large stand of second-growth Douglas fir forest laced with about 28 miles of trails shared by equestrians and pedestrians, making it one of the region's premier urban horse-riding destinations.

Managed by Washington State Parks with support from the Bridle Trails Park Foundation and local saddle clubs, it offers a rare expanse of quiet woodland in the heart of the densely developed Eastside.
