The Bellevue Collection
Kemper Development's 5.5-million-square-foot downtown portfolio uniting Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place.
The Bellevue Collection is the umbrella brand for three interconnected developments in downtown Bellevue, all owned and managed by Kemper Development Company: the enclosed Bellevue Square mall, the towers of Lincoln Square, and the office-and-hotel complex Bellevue Place. Together they form a roughly 5.5-million-square-foot mixed-use portfolio of shopping, dining, entertainment, hotels and offices.
The Collection traces its lineage to Bellevue Square, which opened in 1946, and grew over the following decades under the leadership of Kemper Freeman Sr. and later Kemper Freeman Jr. The properties are physically linked by skybridges, most notably the 2007 connection between Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square, allowing shoppers to move between buildings without going outside.
With more than 200 tenants, the Collection anchors downtown Bellevue's retail core and draws shoppers from across the Puget Sound region. It pairs department-store anchors and mass retailers with luxury brands, restaurants, cinemas and two hotels, making it one of the largest and highest-grossing retail destinations on the Eastside.
