PCC Community Markets - Bellevue
Bellevue co-op location of PCC Community Markets, the largest community-owned food cooperative in the United States.
PCC Community Markets - Bellevue is a branch of PCC (Puget Consumers Co-op), the largest community-owned food cooperative in the country. The store sits at 11615 NE 4th Street on the eastern edge of downtown Bellevue, with parking accessed via a garage at the south end of the building on 116th Avenue.
Like other PCC locations, the Bellevue store emphasizes organic produce, sustainably sourced meat and seafood, bulk foods, and a full-service deli, all governed by the cooperative's standards for natural and ethically sourced products. Membership is open to the public, and member-owners share in the co-op's governance and benefits.
PCC's Bellevue presence brought the Seattle-rooted co-op model across Lake Washington to the Eastside, offering a locally focused alternative to the national grocery chains that dominate the area.
