Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar opened in spring 2002 as chef John Howie's seafood destination in downtown Bellevue. The restaurant features a wide array of freshly prepared seafood, steaks, poultry and pasta alongside an extensive raw bar of sushi, sashimi and local oysters.
Long regarded as one of the Pacific Northwest's premier seafood restaurants, Seastar has earned strong Zagat scores and 'Best Seafood' recognition from local press, along with an award-winning wine list. Its happy hour and bar program are downtown staples.
The restaurant helped establish chef John Howie's reputation on the Eastside before he opened John Howie Steak at The Bravern.
