Kelsey Creek Farm Park

A 150-acre community park centered on a working demonstration farm with historic dairy barns and farm animals.

1968
City acquired

Kelsey Creek Farm Park is a community park of more than 150 acres of forest, meadows and wetlands surrounding a working demonstration farm. The City of Bellevue purchased the original 80 acres of pasture, meadow and woods in 1968 and added wetland and wildlife habitat to the south in 1990.

The farm's agricultural history dates to 1921, when the Duey family began clearing the stump-covered land and started the Twin Valley Dairy, delivering milk, cream and butter. Two white barns crown the hilltop; the smaller Animal Barn was rebuilt in just two weeks after the original burned in 1933, and both barns are listed on the State Heritage Barn Register.

Today the farm is home to ponies, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks and rabbits, and it is a popular family destination offering farm tours, programs and seasonal events alongside the surrounding natural areas and trails.
