Historic residential and commercial neighborhood · Wilburton

Wilburton

A historic neighborhood east of downtown known for wooded parks, the Bellevue Botanical Garden, and a commercial district slated for the Grand Connection.

160 acres
Kelsey Creek Park

Wilburton is one of Bellevue's historic neighborhoods, located just east of downtown across Interstate 405. It is an enclave of single-family and multifamily housing valued for its rich history, parks, and wooded areas, offering a residential calm within minutes of the urban core.

The neighborhood is bracketed by major green spaces, including the acclaimed Bellevue Botanical Garden and the 160-acre Kelsey Creek Park with its working demonstration farm. These parks give Wilburton an unusually green, established character for a neighborhood so close to the city center.

Wilburton's commercial district is planned as a key destination for the Grand Connection, a pedestrian corridor envisioned to link across I-405 and through downtown to the Meydenbauer Bay waterfront, positioning the historically low-key area for greater connectivity and future growth.
