Factoria

A mixed-use commercial center in south Bellevue anchored by the Marketplace at Factoria, serving surrounding residential neighborhoods.

Factoria is a mixed-use suburban neighborhood in south Bellevue and one of the city's significant commercial districts. It is bounded roughly by Interstate 90 to the north, Interstate 405 to the west, Newport Way to the east, and Coal Creek Parkway to the south. The neighborhood serves as a retail and service hub for surrounding residential areas including Eastgate, Somerset, Newport, Mockingbird Hill, and Woodridge.

The district's commercial anchor is the Marketplace at Factoria, which first opened in 1977 as Factoria Square and was later known as Factoria Mall, originally housing about 20 retailers. It remains a shopping destination for residents across south Bellevue.

Factoria is served by King County Metro bus routes connecting much of the Eastside, with the nearby Eastgate Park and Ride providing additional service into Seattle. Its location at the I-90/I-405 interchange makes it one of south Bellevue's most accessible commercial nodes.
