Bellwether Sculpture Exhibition
Bellevue's signature outdoor sculpture exhibition, with rotating installations along a walking route from City Hall to Downtown Park.
Bellwether is the City of Bellevue's signature outdoor sculpture exhibition, presenting more than 30 sculptures and installations along a roughly three-quarter-mile walking route stretching from Bellevue City Hall to Bellevue Downtown Park.
The exhibition began in 1992 as an initiative to create an art walk through the center of the city. It was renamed Bellwether in 2010 to signal a more forward-looking approach, and is organized by the Bellevue Arts Program, typically returning every other year during the summer.
Bellwether is part of a broader downtown public-art collection that includes permanent works such as Piloti by Marc Fornes/THEVERYMANY, a perforated canopy of fluted columns installed at the Bellevue Way entrance to Downtown Park in 2023.
