Northwest Bellevue

An established, affluent residential neighborhood area between downtown and Lake Washington, bordering the city of Clyde Hill.

Residential
Type

Northwest Bellevue is one of the city's official neighborhood areas, occupying the wedge of land between downtown Bellevue and the Lake Washington shoreline north of Main Street. It is among Bellevue's most established and affluent residential districts, with mature trees, larger lots, and proximity to both the lake and the downtown core.

The area includes lakeside enclaves and view properties and abuts the small incorporated city of Clyde Hill to the west and the Meydenbauer Bay area to the south. Its quiet residential streets contrast sharply with the adjacent high-rise downtown, only minutes away.

Together with West Bellevue, this part of the city forms the prestigious western residential band overlooking Lake Washington, long associated with some of Bellevue's highest property values.
