Spring District/120th Station
2 Line station in a retained-cut trench at the heart of the Spring District transit-oriented neighborhood.
Spring District/120th Station is a 2 Line light rail station built in a retained-cut trench near 120th Avenue NE, in the Bel-Red corridor. It opened on April 27, 2024, and sits at the center of the Spring District, a major mixed-use neighborhood developed by Wright Runstad on a former Safeway distribution site.
The station anchors a 16-block, 36-acre transit-oriented development that includes office space for tenants such as Meta and the Global Innovation Exchange, housing, and retail, plus an affordable-housing project. It exemplifies Sound Transit's strategy of pairing rail stations with dense walkable development.
