South Bellevue Station
Elevated 2 Line station on Bellevue Way with the Eastside's largest park-and-ride garage at 1,500 stalls.
South Bellevue Station is an elevated 2 Line light rail station on Bellevue Way SE near the south end of the city, built on the site of the former South Bellevue Park-and-Ride. It opened on April 27, 2024, and served as the temporary southern terminus of the Eastside starter segment until the line was connected across Lake Washington to Seattle in 2026.
The station is paired with the largest park-and-ride on the Eastside, a 1,500-stall garage that opened in November 2021, plus a surface lot, bus bays, and paratransit transfer facilities served by King County Metro and Sound Transit Express. The elevated structure features a colorful station artwork mural.
Its scale and parking make it a major gateway for drivers from south Bellevue, Mercer Island, and the I-90 corridor accessing the regional rail network.
