Bellevue College is a public college on a campus near Eastgate in southeast Bellevue. It is the largest community and technical college in Washington State and among the largest institutions of higher education in the state overall, enrolling on the order of 38,000 students per year.

The school opened as Bellevue Community College on January 3, 1966, with classes initially held at the former Newport Senior High School. Its main campus on Landerholm Circle opened in 1968. The institution changed its name to Bellevue College in 2009 as it expanded to offer bachelor's degree programs.

Today Bellevue College offers transfer associate degrees, applied bachelor's degrees, professional and technical certificates, and continuing education, serving a diverse Eastside student population.
